Get Your BDSM Restraints, Toys, Furniture and Gear Featured by Knotty Photos

Beautiful restraints, toys and furniture can have a huge impact on BDSM/fetish photos. I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some amazing artisans who have been extremely generous and supportive of my work and mission. While I have bought or borrowed a lot of the gear I use in my images, plenty of it of it has been generously provided by makers. 

When a maker provides gear for use in the studio, I do the following for them:

1) Tag them in images that feature their gear any/every time I publicly post. 

2) Provide them with images cleared for use in their own promotion (social media, websites, posters).

3) Refer models/clients who fall in love with the gear used in the studio to the maker and help facilitate purchases. 

4) For local vendors, I also provide poster-sized prints for them to use at events. 

Occasionally, I blog about my favorite gear on from both a photography standpoint as a user. 

So far, this rather informal arrangement has worked out very well for all involved. Several people who have used gear in my studio have bought their own shortly after a shoot (one model had me call a collar maker mid-shoot to order a replacement for the one I was loaning her because she didn’t want to give mine back). This includes some fairly pricey items. Numerous makers have reported online orders immediately following posts on FetLife or social media. 

I have also been hired by a few makers to shoot their whole product line for web sites or online catalogs.
